ONE lamp is a suspension lighting system in which
formal innovation and advanced technology come together. ONE received the Red Dot
Design Award 2024 Best of the Best in the Lighting - Design Concept section, e
the IF Design Award 2025.
The idea of ONE has its
roots in the research initiated by Fablab
Venice in 2018 on the design of 3D printed parametric lampshades with
innovative anti-glare features.
The first model in 2020
European registered. In 2023 the research developed within the call
Drawings+ and Casacde funding Creathriv-EU Euroclusters for Thriving Creative
and Cultural Industries. leads to the definition of the new model and the new
registration of the design at EUIPO.
ONE is in balance between design,
technology and sustainability.
One line without interruptions, one shape
which hides an ever-changing pattern of light. There is no equal ONE
to the other.
The texture of the internal surface is always different thanks to
subtle variations in the speed and extrusion of the material.

ONE explores the potential and the
limits of additive manufacturing: surface textures make each
Unique lampshade that can only be made using large FFF 3D printing
format.
ONE is sustainable "by design": the materials and production processes
they have been studied from an environmental performance perspective. We have
quantified the Carbon Footprint of the entire lighting system.
ONE
comes from an algorithm. The machine moves following assigned parameters e
depositing the molten biopolymer continuously, with slight variations in the
speed and flow.
The continuous line generates a double surface and creates
a space between the two skins, where the light source is positioned.
Rigorous shape on the outside, unexpected fabric on the inside.
